Homemade Dog Treats – Egg Quiche Muffins
Dog treats are often expensive to buy, and many store-bought versions contain questionable or even toxic ingredients. Try making your own natural, healthy treats at home instead!
Here’s an example of Egg Quiche Dog Treats I make — nutritious, simple, and delicious enough for you to enjoy too!
Ingredients
7 eggs
1 apple (thinly sliced or finely chopped)
Ground ginger - I use Light House brand or fresh
Parsley = I use Light House brand or fresh
Mozzarella or cheddar cheese
Supplies
Muffin tin that makes 6 muffins
(Double the recipe if using a 12-muffin tray)
Directions
1. Beat the eggs in a bowl.
2. Pour the beaten eggs into the muffin tray.
3. Add a few slices of apple to each muffin (Share the rest of the apple with your dog)
4. Sprinkle a pinch of ginger and parsley on top of each.
5. Add a bit of cheese into each muffin.
6. Bake at 380°F (193°C) for 15 minutes
7. Let cool on a rack before serving.
Storage
Keep refrigerated.
They won’t last long — and yes, you can eat them too!
Yield
6 muffins
