Save the Brumbies

Today, I was accused of living in a land of make believe.
After I fell off my unicorn,
I brushed myself off of dust and lies hurled at me.
I do not live in the land down under, that's true.
I live in a land where peace take precedence over ignorance.
A land where animals take precedence over greed for acreage.
A land where climate change has taken control.
Hurricanes, earthquakes, floods of greater magnitude each year.
We need to stop the senseless slaughter of innocence.
Bring our attention to that which matters.
Animals freely contribute to ecosystem engineering.
Their hoof prints mark the earth where they have left nutrients.
Other animals, the earth, and humans benefit.
It is not the destruction of earth,
But rather the salvation of earth.
They do what no humans can.
They positively contribute in humble adoration of nature.
Their home that we share.
We as humans need to build up, instead of out.
We have destroyed far too much of the earth.
We have gone beyond the breaking point.
Nature now wants us out.
Off to Mars, the moon, space.
Who cares? Nature does.
It wishes to survive and it is greater than us.
We are but a minuscule pest in the whole scheme of life.
What benefits do we produce I ask you?
Guano, nutrients, pump?
No, just crap we sling at others.
It's not the same as the purity of animals.

We need more animals, not less.
We need the hundreds of thousands back
We have already obliterated and more.
Those remaining are our hope for a better world.
A healthier planet.

The Brumbies of Australia are wild horses
Who have done nothing wrong.
Yet they face helicopers chasing them,
Men with rifles to eradicate them.
Why? Greed of land.
Instead of protecting the culture, their life,
The ecosystem engineers they are,
They are treated as disposable.
Yet they are nothing of the such.

Global transport of nutrients
does not stop at borders
It is a concern for all of humanity.
