Paul Boutilier

Hockey players are built tough.
Life can be tougher.
Paul raised himself to the opportunity.
Ran uphill all the way.
From a star is born,
To being one.
Most people only dream of things.
Paul went beyond and made his dreams come true.
Not just his own,
He shared with others.
That's what great leaders do,
They build champions.
On ice, off ice,
Bou-til-i-er will be remembered.
Not just as a hockey player,
But also as a son, brother, uncle, husband, friend.
One that went the distance.
And when the next puck drops,
He'll be there cheering in the crowd,
Surrounded by the Angels that lifted him to heights,
Glided with him on ice,
Defended with him in the rush of life,
Stickhandled the puck to victory,
All the while the country cheered for him.
Today we lost a legend.
