I believe in God, our Father Almighty
Although I can not see you Lord, I know you watch over me
I trust in you as you lead me on my journey
You stand before me mightier than mankind
Creator of Heaven;
Snow white doves, choirs of angels, wings fluttering with delight
Your majesty bestowed upon the pure of heart
I try to imagine the beauteous visions of the light; paradise
and earth;
In the beginning you created Adam and Eve, your miracles stretch far and wide
The dark abyss transformed into day and night, oceans roar with cleansing duty
Twinkling stars at night and waltzing clouds in the sunlight
I believe in Jesus Christ, His only son, our Lord;
Jesus is truth; the one who saves
The Son of God, full of truth and grace, sent to save us sinners
One with God the Father and the holy Spirit; one holy Trinity
He was conceived by the power of the holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary,
Mary, embraced by the holy Spirit, truly blessed
A most precious gift; a babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manager
No earthly pleasure can replace the blessing of the new born King
He suffered under Pontius Pilate,
The power of darkness was the final test
A single kiss of death betrayed, the kiss that lead to life ever after
Just as the crow cried thrice, thrice Pilate tried to reason as sinners turned from the Light
Was crucified, died, and was buried
I lower my head in shameful sorrow, you rejoice the will of God be done
In the darkness of day, the Son of God proclaimed
Laid to rest in the rock-hewn tomb, buried with the scars of innocence
He descended to the dead; on the third day He rose again;
He rose again, flesh, bone and spirit, one body, the Son of God
The Holy Shroud; a gift left for us, an image of Jesus laid to rest
The Light overcomes the darkness
He ascended into heaven, and is seated at the right hand of the Father;
Forty days after resurrection, He took his rightful place
The Son of God rejoices in the glory of God and reigns on high
He gives freely to save us all
He will come again to judge the living and the dead
Let those who have judged be judged, our sins exposed
I will suffer from the pain of knowing I am alone to blame
I stand as one before you, you already know my name
I believe in the holy Spirit,
We are temples for the Spirit to dwell for the sanctification of grace
I will serve with the fruits of the holy Spirit with pleasure, the greatest of these; love
I will use the gifts of the holy Spirit to serve and help humanity
the Holy Catholic Church,
God’s Word is taught to us freely
I kneel and bow my head before you Lord, I pray
The Lamb of God takes away sins of the world and grants us peace
The communion of saints,
Let us pray and do good works to help Holy Souls enter the kingdom of God
Unite with heaven and purgatory with prays of intercession
Let us join together in the Risen Christ
the forgiveness of sins,
Though the world is full of temptation to sin, I pray through grace, I sin no more
I shall repent and allow my forgiving spirit to forgive those who have offended me
Please forgive my trespasses as I forgive those who trespass against me
the resurrection of the body, and life everlasting
Rise Up! Look not among the dead to find the living !
Although darkness may creep in, despair not; the Light of Jesus overcomes all
I chose the Light
Amen
Amen.
