Started my day off on the drive to work thinking about my Mom. On the walk to work I met a delightful man carrying a camera around his neck and papers in his hand. He was going the same way as me and talked about the weather, as Cape Bretoner's often do. He mentioned ice clampers still being in the harbors off coast and how he had lost many friends who used to skip over them. It made me reminisce about Mom telling me when she was young jumping ice clampers in the ocean. She fell in once and something under her foot lifted her back out of the water to safety and then to get changed and warmed up from the cold waters. The man thought that was serendipity at it's best. I do too and also think it was serendipity for that exact moment to met him on the street and have that conversation. Thank you Mom, Angels and Jesus. I love serendipitous moments. :) Maria Lisa Polegatto
