"When dealing with canine cancer, you have to take the good with the bad. For all Whiskey has had bad days, she has also had good days where she skips around the block on her tippy toes like she was a puppy again. God bless the good days and thankfully she's had more good days than bad." Maria Lisa Polegatto

I am happy to announce that I have had some tumor lump shrinkage. I am still working hard on my journey to heal further and using many modalities to convince this cancer it's got to move out for good! While I am enjoying a good appetite, going for walks and getting massages, this cancer still sucks sometimes. I am staying positive though. Thank you to everyone who is helping me on this journey. I really appreciate all the support, healing energy and love." Whiskey "Sugar Plum" "Darlin" "Hun" "Furry Love" Polegatto

"When dealing with cancer, we add healthy fats to the diet. When we talk about fats we mean healthy fats like omega 3 oil fatty acids such as fish oil and krill oil from cold water fish, not fats that we eat that make us fat. We look at the eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) levels. Cancer patients need higher levels in their diets. While feeding your dog flax oil can help with ear health, it might not be absorbed enough to be beneficial to deal with cancer. Sardines packed in water and oil are also a favorite with my furry love." Maria Lisa Polegatto
