"We eat the same foods we have always eaten. Why now are they termed "bad" for us? I believe it's not as much the food, as what is done to the food before we eat it - the chemicals used to preserve the foods to last longer, to make them grow bigger, pesticides to keep the bugs from destroying the food, the genetic mutations, even the packaging, the list goes on. I eat organic foods and grow as much as I can. I feel better mentally and physically when I do." Maria Lisa Polegatto
