"Christmas is a wonderful time of year to eat all kinds of food while enjoying holiday festivities with friends and family. If there is one family of vegetables I add into my meals it is cruciferous vegetables that heal the body long after eating them. Healthy should always taste good too. Here is a potluck Christmas vegetable meal I make all year round, no measuring required. Add a thin layer of tortilla, then fresh boiled noddles, shredded mozzarella cheese, shredded white and red cabbages and carrot, diced red pepper, broccoli tops, cottage cheese, no sugar added homemade cranberry sauce. Other options to add are nuts, seeds, cherry tomatoes. You decide how much and what toppings, just open the fridge and layer on the goodness." Maria Lisa Polegatto Dec 20, 2016
