Getting Healthy With My Dog - Commercial Dog Food

"I asked myself when the amount of food I fed my dog came out after digestion, what is being retained for nutrition? Is she gaining weight on nutrients or inflammation?  When I started feeding my dog quality food that she and I put loving care into making, the amount that came out was much less. At first I was on alert that her stools were much less because that can be a sign of blockage. I was used to at least a bag a walk but now I get much less, even just a bag a day. She has more energy, her eyes are brighter, she skips around the block.
