"Today marks 8 years since my Mom was called home but her spirit lives on with me forever. Not a day goes by without me thinking of her and knowing that God must have needed her more than I. One day I hope to talk to God about that and to thank Him for the blessing of having her as my Mom. The kind of Mom that dreams are made of - caring and loving, nurturing and kind, reassuring and comforting, proud and humble, always there to share her wisdom, we talked, we laughed, we shared, we loved the same things, the sister I never had, my best friend, the best a girl could ever have. When cancer tried to shake you, you shook it off for over 20 years, recurring it came, and still you rallied and fought, my Braveheart, you ran as long as you could run, and even still it never left you in pain, and it finally left you again but alas your heart grew weak and could not continue to beat.
