One foot in front of the other, one step before the next, one moment in time is all it takes. Spending time in the present takes you away from the past and lets you savor every moment as the future waits its time to arrive. Rushing only complicates the sequence that needs time to unfold relaxed and confident.

My steps usually arrive me in nature where the wind whispers through the leaves as the squirrels scamper in the branches. The wind knows no boundaries as it swirls around you. It clears away the baggage of fear you hold inside as the sun warms you in the joy of rays of sunshine. Fear has no place in the Light. It simply dissipates when love fills your soul. Knowing the Light has no fear, no doubt, no end, makes the present so precious every moment is savored before allowing time to pass to the next.
Moments are opportunities we share with others in the generosity of spirit. To truly connect on a soul level, one must leave the stress of the world behind, relax and share in the energy of His love. Open your heart and peel away the layers, let go of the fear that prevents you from new experiences that bring you toward the happiness that awaits you.
To find the present moment there are no better teachers than animals. They know our true intentions, our thoughts, our past long before we've reached out to them as they judge us not. They see our true self entering their space and know what baggage we hold within us. The self we hide beneath the good, the bad, the hurts, the sorrows, the joys and hopes for tomorrow. When I find myself drifting into thoughts, a muzzle nudges me to bring me back to the present. Bud's eye peering into mine as he connects to my soul in silence As we stand side by side looking into nature, our souls enjoy the energy that abounds, unseen but felt when we steady ourselves in the present moment.
For God has given us nature and animals to show us how to connect to love, how to let go of the past, wait for the future and live our lives in the present moments of His love. Of all His gifts so plentiful is the gift of love, unseen but searched by all. It is simply found inside us. Let go and experience all He has to offer. Your path is much clearer in the Light as the present weaves every moment into the next until you arrive in His tomorrow.
