Life leads us many places, good and bad, through daylight and darkness. Each step leading us toward another event that molds us into ourselves. As days pass by quickly, we can still slow down the pace by taking time for ourselves to revive our soul to new heights. My place for this renewal is the depths of nature and all of the treasures it has to offer. A walking meditation along the path that Light has opened before me.

As I walk upon the grass, each blade beckons to me to walk on. The trees so tall and slender protect me from the wind, sun and rain. There is a hush all over the forest sending forth a lullaby so sweet and tender with scents and sights to enchant me further into the forest. The birds are singing sweetly in the trees, the squirrels are romping to and fro picking acorns for their stash. All around the wild animals are snuggled in their homes.
As I walk further into the forest, the harshness of the world is lost. For I am in this land of living wonder. The carpet so soft with moss, sticks and rocks. The way always opens up for a path that leads me on, as the sun shines bright rays through the shrubs and trees.
The wolves start howling in the distance. A sweet and subtle song mixed with long notes that call out to nature all around. They are sending their blessing into the world and I am open to receive it with much gratitude. I close my eyes and allow the eeriness of their song reverberate within me. As I stop and see them clearly, our eyes lock and they send me love with eyes so meaningful. I, in turn, sending them love with my spirit.
Although there is a chill in the air, I am warm inside with song in my heart and happiness overflowing. I can take on anything in the world for nature fills me with the rectitude of spirit. I am open to attracting life as it comes by accepting what gives me fuel to live instead of simply responding to the possibilities life casts toward me.
My soul is refreshed as I relish all that nature offers. Although I have to go back to the regular paces of my life, I take the feeling nature has bestowed upon me and keep it in my heart until I can step back into nature to again renew myself.
