All That Binds

As nails bind to the cross
Strengthening begins
Although the executioners and their band
Intend to bind the fear that drives them
Strengthening in hearts for love of Jesus
Travels through the lands

That's the thing about nails
Sometimes they strengthen the binds that tie
While at other times they break apart
That which they are meant to hold
With splinters that flock to that
Which one divinely holds dear in their hearts.
