Conflict

For people who are trained to know better
Conflict is a positive thing
Airing out the changes needed to be made
But when lies overshadow
No truth can be seen
But it exists to those who tell it
Even to those who are oblivious
To the lies fed to them
Building up daily
Until the next attack strikes fast
A day's wage for a day's work
Apparently that's old news for old views
As today's world takes everything it can
Tick, tick, tick, tick, tick, tick, tick......
Let the torture begin
If that doesn't work, let's try again
Something more devious
Let's lie and swear to it
That's the new game
Only the ill willed will fall to it's use
Stand tall and be you
His truth comes forward
It rushes not for there is more to be told
The crumbs lead back to the liar
Eat not from the toxin
Prayer is what keeps you close to His truth
Pray for you and also for them
Absolve yourself from their sin
Restore yourself
Hold your shield high
His Truth surrounds you
Let God deal with this as only He can.

Brillance Of The Light

poetry
People will condemn you
They will call you names
And try to make you feel less than them
They will degrade you for their own enjoyment

They think it will make them happy
But it really doesn't

Let them live with their own karma
Because that is not what happiness is
Send them joy and abundance of life
Be full of the Light and let it heal you
Let it mend the holes they have poked through you
Use those holes to let in the Light
Let it fill you with its brilliance
Let it dance within you and make you smile
It will bring happiness all around you
You need not worry when the Light is inside you
For that is what happiness is
That is where happiness comes from
Within you and out into the world to share
The Light that shines so brightly
For the Lord to see and be glad.

Believe In Yourself

empowerment poetry
There will always be those
Telling untruths for their gain
A reflection of themselves
And the predicament of their lives
For jealously has no end
It blocks the way to the Light
Stand tall, stand firm
Believe in yourself
With all of your might
You are your truth
The way to the Light.

Woe Of The Spirit

conflict resolution

Published in The Edge Magazine online

After all the distorted facts and drama unfolds
She walks by smirking and taunting me still
Trying to push my buttons to get me to react
I stand back reeling from the horror
Of insults and insinuations hurling
She now acts superior like a victor home from battle
But the battle within her continues to toil
Although I wish to battle not, it also means I fear not
The fear you impose you unleash from within
A reflection of your thoughts and life experiences
I see your spirit and mine floods with sorrow
But woe the sorrow of my spirit helps you not
So I send you joy and an abundance of Light
As you seem to need it more than I now in your life
I hope your journey leads you to the peace that you seek
Just remember peace is not a battle; it is a place of quiet resolve
Where we learn from each other lessons to help one another
Let the Light guide you so fear falls away
You will then see in all a brighter day.

Thy Will Be Done

Joan of Arc poetry
Bravery in this world is no easy task
Joan of Arc; Vive Le France!
While warriors get trampled
Their greatness remains
Hoof prints embedded in our hearts
Rallying the troops for better days
To rid the world of sorrow
Takes a toll on those borrowed
Borrowed for this time
From great masters that lead us
Into battles that need winning
For mercy is at heart
God grant us forgiveness
For not standing up sooner
To show the world the bravery
Of trusting in Your heart
Faith will lead us
Truth will overcome
Grace will hold us
Thy will be done.

I fear while I relish riding into battle
To fight the good fight
The fight of right
The fight of no evil
Where truth rises up and surrounds us all
Leading us to a better life
For a fight is not a battle when
You live in the Light that guides the way.

Ego

conflict resolution poetry
Published online October 1, 2015 in The Edge Magazine.

His ego pranced in front of me
How dare I tell the truth
What could I do about it anyway
The damage he created
Is from his own doing
As I sat and listened to his wrath
I wondered if he still thinks it's worth it

Just then his spirit peeked out aside him
"I'm scared to live inside this body
the hurt it unleashes ricochets inside
I try to lead him to the Light
but fear and greed lead him away"
At that moment I looked at him again
I felt compassion for his soul.

Betrayal Lets the Light Shine Brighter

30/7/2015

When someone you once thought
You could trust betrays you
The knife cuts jagged and deep
Shattered pieces fall before you
Your heart torn from your body
Thrown on the cold dark floor
Smashed into many tiny pieces
Obliterated from existence
They want to ensure they crushed
All of you to the ends of no return
As you sit recalling all the good
You have done for them and
Question what did you do wrong
Remember you did nothing wrong
You are the Light that they fear
For fear leads those to harm you
Fear deep within them that has
Turned them dark and cold
But let your Light shine brightly
Brighter than before
For they are a reflection of what
They find within themselves
Not a mirror of your Light
For Light does not harm
It does not fear
The Light can see through the darkness
And knows when to step aside
And let the dark bury itself forever more.
