Amplify Women

When I walk in nature
It speaks to me 
Embracing me with kindness
I, in turn, with gratitude and love
It teaches me to listen
Understand and grow
So when I enter into the busy world
I do not need to be silenced
For I have come from safe surroundings
Protected, guided and influenced
I will not be silenced by others
I will continue to be as God intended
Sometimes mild
Other times speaking up
But always standing up 
I will amplify without causing harm
I choose who to converse with
Where, when and how
For I am a mirror that reflects 
What I have learned
To treat others with respect
No matter how they choose to deflect
Let peace and love guide the way
For it is all that surely matters.
