Hug From the Universe

Nature for me a hug from the universe
Being in the ambiance of nature is divine
The sun shines warmly nurturing my soul
The light breeze twirls around me
Up from toe to head and down to the ground
Removing the sticky ick of the world 
Grounding me into my ways of being
Passion abounds as I begin to twirl around
Arms in the arm reaching to touch the blue of the sky
Smelling the sweetness of salt water from the ocean
The sounds of the waves roll onto the shore
Rocks are rolling creating music for my soul
Listening to the seagulls as they fly high above
I can see the horizon leading to the rest of the world
But I go there not for I am enjoying these happy moments
Rose buds are calling me to stay for more vitamin sea
The seals are basking in the sunshine as Eagles rise above
Squirrels chirp in the trees as I pass on by harming them not
This is their home, not mine
Wildlife has much to teach us
As I take in a long hug from the universe
Before I head for home
Relaxed, resilient, and rejuvenated for another day
Until I can come back and connect with nature again.
