Kindness Is A Personality

I saw your hate for me today
I saw it in your eyes
I heard it in your voice
I felt it in my soul

The downward spiral you could no longer hold
As you lashed out at me
You could not stand even the sight of me
You tried to erase me with your wrath

Your true colors shone through
Emotions are irregular but this was more than that
Kindness is a personality
Not just for a fleeting moment 

I felt sorrow in my soul for yours
For hating someone is akin to hating yourself
Kindness needs to exist even after you get what you want
It is greeting someone's soul with yours

I prefer to stay in the state of love
It's so much more inviting there
My heart is lighter here
As I feel the warmth of the Light

I've taken your clue and gone the other way
I'll be more cautious approaching you in future
Alas it is not my place to judge you
As I'm busy judging myself already all too harshly.
