The lure of manipulation kids me not
I am no stranger to its plots and drama
That then soon unfolds for all to see
The truth sets me free to carry on in the Light
Unencumbered by darkness lurking in the shadows waiting to strike
After its careful deliberation and planning to set the trap
The Light protects me and warns me still
Danger! Warning! Danger!
Proceed ahead with caution!
Although my need for truth has allowed me to speak it
I hear the lies that change as stories are told
I stand back and take the best defense
Wait it out and let the truth be seen, heard and known
For the Light will win out
Even darkness knows the time will come when they need to move on
There is no place for even a hint of seduction in the Light
For love has its boundaries
It reaches out, envelops the darkness and fills it with Light
Like sunrise on the first morning He opened our eyes
Behold the beauty He has laid out before us
Fill your life up with His love
It is up to us to see it, feel it
Be it!
