Take me to the river
That's where I belong
Horse and buggy drawn
Herbs and flowers grow
As if strewn across the land
Gazing at the stars above
As they twinkle and smile
Moon beams light my way
Til the break of dawn
In the wax and wane of life
My cares are washed away
In currents of the ebb and flow
Til the sun bursts forth with color
Dancing to and fro with innocence
To light my heart aglow.
