To walk in nature
Is to never be alone
Senses alive, life revived
Whispers of sweet messages
Intermingle in the leaves
As the trees reach out
To each other and me
The scent of wild roses
As the dew beckons to me
Surrounded by fresh fallen leaves
As the summer breeze dances about
Berries of blue in fields so rich
As I lean in to dine
And experience the pleasure
Sweetness is truly divine
The need to be gentle utmost
Although nature is resilient
One must remember
We are only a visitor, not resident
Before me I marvel
Far and wide
At all of the treasures
God has spread out before my eyes.
