Nature's Resilience

Nature so astounds me
Even after all of these years
How it can well up inside you
And flow all about
With grace and beauty
Humility and perseverance
With its strength to uphold
All that is true and right
Protecting us in spite of ourselves
It carries on despite being trampled
Run down, cut down, dug up, weeded out
And yet it survives
With its innocence intact
Brighter and mightier than all
Nurtured in the Divine Light.
