Along a crevice in the walk a tiny rose bud is born
No matter how hard people have both intentionally and unintentionally
Walked on it, stamped it out, ground it back into the earth
Nature is a part of God and the Light that shines upon it shall never cease
It bursts forth in silent innocence growing stronger everyday
Its roots deeply planted in the soil ready to spring forth each day
The sweetness of its aroma pleases God
Reaching up and out it declares with its petals wide open
As it exposes its inner heart, its truth, its courage
"Here I am Lord, I am ready to bring forth the warmth of your love"
It patiently sits before us waiting for us to awaken parts inside
The simply act of allowing love to flow within us and outward to others
As we look into nature and see the face of God.
