Water Healer

I so miss the water
And all its charm
Its sparkling beauty
Refreshing and deep
Within my soul it seeps
As the water dries upon my arms
The sands of salt fall away
Each paddle digs deep into the depths
To heal all the day has piled on
As the sun sets low it dances
It shimmers til dusk visits
And as the sun fades
So too do worries that need not be
For into the depths they have fallen away
Leaving me full of its treasures
To sustain me for another day.
