Have you ever experienced your twin soul
A feeling deep within you
It quiets you. It ignores the outside world
Nothing else matters in those moments
The meeting of two to connect one 
Split by previous lifetimes 
Destined to come back together
To find one another in the journey of life is divine
Maybe you met, experienced, and were torn apart
But are you really apart?
In the physical, yes, but in the spiritual, never
You dream of each other yearning for that feeling
That inner knowing there is something so special
The desire of that feeling uplifting you
When you meet again, the spark reunites
It was never really out. It just diminished its flame
It felt more lost as time endured
That's what happens when two parts divide
Coming back together is energetically magic
Spiritually transcending time and space
To behold is uplifting but to hold..... time has no place
De-ja vu in those moments as your soul remembers
Your now reunited soul reaches out and holds
Time and space can never tear you apart
As your soul has always been one.

Go into nature to see how His magic interconnects
Us to everything from the meniscal to that bigger than life
Sometimes it is painful changing your status quo
But when it is divinely lead….
Oh what moments are to be held!
When we hold back and fear takes hold
It simply delays the process 
We all get stuck in the daily drum roll
Let the beat of your own drum resound louder
Deep within your soul is a yearning 
Allow your sprit to experience it
To show you how life can flow with delight
God doesn’t lead you to greatness to have you fall
He leads you to higher soul knowledge for your highest good
See the beautiful flower protected in the lushness of foliage
He is reminding you of your beauty and His protection 
Take His hand on the path less travelled
Allow your yearning to beat in the forest of life.

Who are we?
Who created us?
Who is most superior?
Who was the first to walk the land?
Who do we applaud or blame?
Do other species wonder or do they just respect?
All questions humans seek to answer
But does any of it really matter?

What are we doing here?
Beside destruction of the planet
Trying to keep up
We live in an economic world
Spinning out of control
Days go by so quickly
That's what happens when greed is primary
We need to love what we do

Where did we come from?
Where do we find the answers?
Scientists are looking
Digging up the past
Under dirt, rocks and garbage piles
Searching for the evidence
Trying to prove history
Didn't it already happen?

Why do we need to know?
We are humans
We are inquisitive creatures
We pride ourselves on being smart
But so much still remains a mystery
Yet we know more about the moon
Out of arms reach but not out of sight
Luckily gravity keeps us grounded

When did we start the search?
When we wake in the morning
When the moon glows at night
When we eat, sleep and breathe
We think we know so much
Until we find out more
But do we really know anything?
And does it matter in the end?

How do we know how to move forward?
Can we just have faith?
Can we trust the process?
We need to believe without seeing
We need to feel our way forward
One step at a time
While sometimes we feel blindfolded
Sometimes we run too fast into the future

We need to have gratitude 
Enjoy the moments before us
Practice peace with others
Love deeply
Be trustworthy
Be fair in our dealings
Believe in God without seeing Him
He needs no prove to exist.

​What is love?
I've heard it flows like a river
Is patience and kind
Is the joining of two to one
But does it matter who?
How you get along?
If you get along
If you can grow together
Instead of apart

I know what love is not
It is not selfish, controlling or mean
It doesn't meet you at the door
To demand and order
It doesn't follow you around
Ridiculing your every move
It does not ask if you deserve a gift
It does not suffocate 
It does not leave your shell empty

Love inside is kind and genuine
It lets you breathe
it is like a friend you knew before
In another lifetime, fate renews
A love that grows just being near
The feeling welling up of lightness
Filling your aura with a glow
Inside is excited silently blushing
Outside you think no one notices
But there is something different
Your inner secret is peeking out

They make you want to do better
In all areas of your life
To give of yourself freely to them
To share and grow together
To be friends and lovers
Confidants and protectors
Soul mates continuing on the path
Helping each other grow
One step at a time
No rush, time will wait
As your love grows and glows.

Nature awakens from slumber
Buds burst and beam with delight
Aroma permeates deep within the soul
Inhale to deepest depths
Holding until at last a breath
Releasing C02 in conversation therewith
Again and again, intoxicating aroma set free
We exchange as it is meant to be
I am rooted in the earth
As the earth is rooted in me
Symbiotically dancing through life.

Today we are living in a world that opens eyes everyday
Yet we have so many conveniences 
Things at our fingertips we once had to forge
Gone are the days of digging ditches by hand
But are they?
When the world collapses
When countries hoard their own resources
When people have to learn to live again
Grow their own food, make their own clothes
When parts for equipment does not cross borders
We will need to innovate new ways 
Be creative with our resources
Learn to trade, beg, borrow, sell
We have come so far as humanity
So far we can't contain it
Or can we?  Yes, we can
We need to help one another
Feed one another
Lift each other up
For God gave his only son to us to save us
Why are we now turning back the clock of existence?
Greed is a filthy thing
It is not that there is not enough
It is that a few want it all
We must start in our own home 
Extend out to our community
Every effort makes a difference
Be a part of change for the better
Trade war for peace and start again.

Someday when peace rules the world
When there is nothing more to gain from the earth
We will know what we have lost
The lives of innocent souls that kept the earth alive
Will shine bright for those who still remember them
For others they are stories to be told
For us it is unicorns with their long beams of love
Younger generations will think they are myths
As they will think of the then sea
The roar will be no more
Ions swept up and turned to dust
Trees without leaves that used to flow in the breeze
While peace may eventually grow
War will have torn what we once knew apart
Barren and forlorn it will appear
However, nature will not disappoint
As it lives in spite of those who trample it out
For everything that is created by the Lord never dies.

As if you were receiving it

Laugh at yourself
Life is tough enough
Relax from the jaw, shoulders, back
Let that tenseness fall into the earth
Inhale slowly, breath deeply
Hold it for a few seconds 
Before you release it
Deflate that stress
Hug puppies and kittens
They are all still babies at heart
No matter their age
Realize everyone has their own issues
Don't battle yourself
You are a warrior
Stand tall and strong
Even if shaking inside
Speak with volume
So not having to repeat
Put on God's armor
With His love in your heart.

I stand in awe of the world
We are but mere specs in the whole scheme
As things are all whirling about
We set about our day with good intentions
Not always is the world in agreement though
So when you encounter negative emotions
Close your eyes and breathe in deeply
Concentrate on love to recalibrate
As we breathe out fully release the negativity
So it dissipates as it touches the Light
And pray it hurts no one
Not even those that have hurled it 
For they more deeply need it
Intentionally or unintentionally 
We are our thoughts, actions and emotions
Ground yourself in His love
It is freely everywhere to bask in
Just let it in and it will heal you
For He is everywhere you are
Simply invite Him into your life.

Racing faster than I could run
My body left behind in the dust
As the clouds swirled around my head
As my thoughts raced on
I knew it all along
But when the truth sets free
Emotions run high about
It's good to get it out

Now do it again
Calm your mind
Now breathe as you try again
You are free from the lies
The truth is like that
It always sets you free
Free to breathe again.

I entered the world today
Giving it another shot
Stepping outside to join in
To do my part

Things were going well
But then it happened again
The world fell in
As my insides fell out

Why am I always surprised
When they do it again
What joy they take
How far they are willing to go

But who am I to wonder where I belong
Even with all I know of them
I am again disillusioned at heart
Better than being delusional

So I took my seat up high
Never minding the fake smiles
For God is keeping me safe
As I rode off on my unicorn again.

​Lets start the year off right
Dash away last year, dash away
Many missions completed but always remembered 
Who, when, where, why, how, and what clues do we find
We won't tell any part of our mission
We know what the woods can feel like when alone
While we love it, we know it can be scary 
Shake it off and on with the vibe
Finding clues that lead to a person Is how we jive
Lost persons and behavior are our thing
We'll travel through anything until called back in

When the call comes from police or RCMP
We are ready to hurry up and wait
Hurry to leave with our prepared bags
Get to the site and wait for our tasking
Compass and whistle already in place
If we can't make the first call, we'll be there as relief for those ahead
We have our clothing specially picked out breathable and hopefully wool
Tall insulated boots for swamps we fear not
Bottles of water no matter the weather
Flashlights, head lamps, gloves, warm hat, helmet, walking sticks specially marked
Reflective gear head to toe
From sunscreen to bug spray, homemade fire starters to duct tape
Paper and pencil to write coordinates
Hot packs in boots and mittens
Cooling vests on wish list
Power saws for clearing
Each searcher's bag unique whether backpack or waist bag
Sorry but no jeans or sneakers in the woods
Extra socks and everything wrapped in plastic bags
Packed with care to keep us all safe
For we know not what we'll find
Off missions you will find us in hunting, fishing, camping sections
Checking for the latest gear to help us in the woods
Whether Cabela's, Canadian Tire, Temu, Amazon or Dollar stores

Into the forest group by group
We follow our team leader with map, GPS and radio or TMR in hand
Following the tasks command center has scoured maps and laid out before us
Covering ground one inch at a time taping the area covered
Grid, cross grid, repeat, area by area
The marvels of nature await us
We climb over logs, do offsets around fallen trees
We rise to the challenges Fiona's wrath has left behind
We wade through tall grass, steams and swamps
Search up and down mountains, through fields, thorns and burs
Coming out the other end with just one thing in mind
What path did you take? We follow the clues
Call in coordinates and carry on still

When a helicopter is called in we hear it whirling above
Spotting we gladly go up
Aerial grid searches watching  the ground below 
While we don't do marine searches we do search the shores and occasionally by boat
We leave no trace unseen
Where did you go? We haven't given up
Task after task we continue the search
Our kitchen is always open whether snacks, Tim's, hot soup depending on mission

We love clear skies, warm winds, and fireflies to light our way
Anytime of the year and time of day
Even in snowstorms and chilly weather
As the need is urgent to keep you from hypothermia
It is then we'll light you a fire
Survival skills we have and we're ready to share
To keep you warm as visions of flames dance and crackle you warm
In the rain we'll stand side by side and grid search
Our rain gear dripping with determination
We search 360 degrees to find a clue
We train weekly to not miss a thing
All senses high on alert

So when you go out, let someone know where
Leave them a note, trip plan, drawing and don't go alone
Take a compass, whistle, cell, emergency blanket and mirror at a minimum
They take up no room
Water and food in case you get lost
And if you do please call 911
A ping to your cell
It doesn't even have to be Bell
Don't panic and run
Hug a tree and wait for us there
We'll trek to you and bring you out
Whether by foot, carry, Argo or air
Home or hospital off you go
We'll bring you out in any shape, even for closure
And if you feel inclined, come join us
To learn and join the team to search for others
The cycle continues as we search all day and into the night

Our team is made up of many all with like mindedness
No matter the day or weather we will find the way
Even holidays we stand by for the call to leave no one behind
We seek no thanks as we volunteer freely
Each searchers wish ....... to bring the team ......and you home.

​Faith moves mountains
Mountains that overshadow
Those that fill us up
With hopelessness for resolve
But alas there is hope that springs eternal
Faith is hope, peace and love
It endures when we need it most
it whirls around us spinning
As it moves through us, in us, with us
Pearls of wisdom from above
So please forgive them God
For they know not what they do
How their actions affect even themselves
Not only does it overshadow others
It overshadows them deeper still
And while they feel victorious
Taller and grander than they are
They follow the beat of the wrong drum
For there is only one drum that matters
The one that beats inside of you
The one that was sparked by Him
For He brings us life 
His wings are wider than we can imagine
They overstretch the mountains
Flying high and rising above
He watches over us as he watched over
The manger with the gift of His only son
Be still and know He is with us all the days of our lives.

We are such an egotistical bunch of beings
Yet we know so little of about life
Life is so delicate yet hard and enduring
We innovate and create
We try and replicate
We do our best to produce
Yet what is so time consuming for us
Is but a mere moment in time
We strive to be the best
While the world around is striving to survive
What is a grand feat for us
Is but a simple blimp in the grand scheme
Like a writer, a poet, an inventor, a creator
He is all of these things and so much more
We can not even fathom His reach
With His being He brings life to the living world
We marvel at what seems like magic as He creates life
And breaks the bond to cross the veil
He simply but divinely sparks His spirit within us
We are a part of Him
His spirit soars within us
All we need do is let it
Breathe, behold, open your eyes
He is everywhere in and around you
He is the mountains, the hills and the valleys
He walks with us and picks us up
And sets us on our way
We must amuse him at times with our antics
Horrify Him with our hatred
Yet He loves us without question
For He knows we know not what we do
Focus on the goodness He beholds
As we stand before Him
He forgives and gives us life
In Him, with Him, through Him
Stand in exultation
Rejoice and be glad
He is with us
All the days of our life.
